FASTFOLD Heat Protector

The Bushmen FASTFOLD Heat Protector is an insulating sleeve that will protect your tent fabric from the heat given off by your wood stove's flue. The Heat Protector should be positioned where your stove pipe passes through your tent fabric (or tarp).

Its perforated design improves air circulation and reduces its weight.
The gap between the flue and the Heat Protector forms a ventilation channel that improves the natural airflow around the pipe. That not only reduces heat build-up near the fabric but also helps expel harmful gases such as carbon monoxide.

The Heat Protector is 12 cm in diameter while the pipe on Bushmen FASTFOLD stoves is 6 cm in diameter. That creates an air gap between the stove pipe and the Heat Protector. The tent fabric can then touch the Heat Protector with no risk at all.

The Heat Protector fits onto the stove pipe with 6 wing-head bolts. Three at the top and three at the bottom. It fits perfectly on sectional stove pipes or on roll-up stove pipes (pipes made from a single sheet of stainless steel or titanium that you roll up).

Designed for Bushmen FASTFOLD wood stoves, the Heat Protector can also be used on other brands of wood stove whose flue is between 6 and 7 cm in diameter.
