Pyrene Bushcraft, the trapper's shop!
The first store in France specializing in bushcraft gear.
Founded in spring 2010, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees.
At Pyrene Bushcraft, we strive to offer reliable and quality equipment:
- Authentic, traditional products that you'll enjoy using and maintaining
- Products little known in France, with a story behind them
- Products that will last you a long time! That you can pass down
We prioritize natural materials:
- Textiles: cotton, wool
- Backpacks: cotton, leather
- Tents: polycotton
- Canteens and campfire cooking: stainless steel, a little heavier but stronger than aluminum and healthy
Going back to the basics, to what the old-timers used, which had proven its worth, then disappeared in the face of new materials that were lighter, more "efficient," more technical, but less endearing and less sturdy.

Pyrene Bushcraft is a family business managed by Franck and Clotilde.
In 1999, they settled in Ariège, a mountain life close to nature. Franck, passionate about outdoor activities, takes advantage of the vast playground: mountains, forests, lakes, rivers...
In 2010, after ten years of experience in selling mountain equipment online, he founded Pyrene Bushcraft.
The idea? To offer beautiful products for bushcraft and nature hiking with quality customer service. For all those who enjoy walking in nature and having a good time in the woods...
