Here is a versatile and genuinely useful product!
The Fjallraven poncho will protect you and your backpack from rain and wind, and it can also be used as a tarp to shelter during a break or to spend the night.
Rectangular (225 cm x 135 cm), it has 5 attachment points allowing a few tarp pitches. You then have a small shelter and genuinely effective cover from the elements.
This poncho weighs 470 g, a little heavy for a poncho, but very tough. You could use it as a groundsheet, as a sheet for carrying leaves, soil or water, as cover over your sleeping bag... In short, an accessory that proves its worth.
The Fjallraven Poncho Tarp has a very good hood with a drawcord and a small peak.
In poncho mode it closes at the sides with press studs.
Supplied in its carry bag.
Available in two colours: Dark Olive or Graphite.
