Timber Cruiser Pack

Every Frost River bag is made from traditional materials

(waxed cotton - 500 g/m² - and leather) with one aim above all: to give you a bag that will be with you for decades. Largely inspired by the canoe packs used by 19th-century adventurers and explorers in North America, Frost River bags are built for hard environments and to last a lifetime.

All the bags are handmade in Frost River's workshops in Minnesota, in the United States.
Worth noting: some pieces may show slight purely cosmetic flaws. Every bag has passed Frost River's quality control before being shipped, which guarantees the quality and the longevity of the product. These bags are made for adventure and Frost River guarantees them for life!

The Frost River Timber Cruiser is inspired by the traditional pack used by woodsmen and loggers of the far north.
With its generous dimensions and two side pockets, this pack suits taller people perfectly for several days in the woods.
For smaller builds (under about 1.80 m) the Frost River Timber Cruiser can be thought of as a carrying pack, to hold a lot of kit in one bag. Ideal on a canoe trip, for instance.

Padded, adjustable leather shoulder straps.
Waist belt - please note, the smallest setting corresponds to a 44 inch waist.
Tumpline: a cotton and leather strap that runs from the top of the pack and sits across the forehead to spread the load and add comfort.
Brass hardware and leather straps to close the flap.
The bottom of the pack is reinforced with a double thickness of fabric.
Two large cotton side pockets with a flap closed by a leather strap. The top of the pocket is not stitched to the pack, so you can carry longer items in the pockets: an axe, a bucksaw... (see photo)
