Classic Wide Water Bottle 1900 ml

In 2004 the American firm Klean Kanteen brought out the first BPA-free steel bottle in history.

The original idea was to offer an alternative to plastic or aluminium bottles: a healthy, light bottle, free of Bisphenol A (BPA), free of odour, easy to clean and good at keeping things cool.
Today Klean Kanteen has developed a wide range of bottles, all stainless steel and all with a distinctive design.

The Klean Kanteen Classic Wide 1900 ml bottle was designed to offer a way of storing and carrying water (or another liquid) suited to many outdoor situations: picnics, hikes with a means of carrying (canoe, pack animals...), camping, base camps... Think of it as a reservoir, easy to fill and easy to handle.

Made from food-grade 18/8 stainless steel, this bottle contains no BPA or other toxic material.
Because stainless steel is healthy, there is no need for a plastic or epoxy lining, as there is on aluminium bottles. It is the material of choice, because it neither holds a taste nor changes the taste of what is inside.
The Loop Cap is also stainless steel on the inside, so the contents are never in contact with plastic. It has a hinged metal ring for hanging or carrying the bottle.

The wide mouth is very handy and very versatile: filling and cleaning are easier, and you can store things other than liquid inside (berries you have just picked, food, a survival kit...).
The thread is compatible with MSR filtration systems.
