Eldris Neck Knife Kit - Green

The story of Mora knives began over 100 years ago in the village of Ostnor in Sweden, not far from Mora, a town known for the quality of its blades.

Erik Frost, a cutler and blacksmith, founded his company and his "Mora" knives were quickly adopted and valued by the Swedes, then abroad. Blades with a faultless edge and impressive toughness are behind that success.

The Mora Eldris is the smallest knife in the Morakniv range.

A blade 2 mm thick and 54 mm long (or 59 mm along the edge). That is short, but it is one of the Eldris's main strengths! A simple, effective fixed blade knife that slips easily into your pocket or your pack. A knife you will actually carry.

The blade is 12C27 steel, a very good quality Swedish stainless with the excellent edge we have come to expect from Mora. It has a scandi grind that tapers towards the point, handy for precise work.The handle feels very good in the hand thanks to a combination of two polymers of different densities, giving both rigidity and grip.

The short blade is more than enough for most needs on the trail, camping, hunting or a quick trip into the woods...
It is not a camp knife, but a very good everyday utility knife!

Supplied with its plastic sheath fitted with a leather strap to secure the knife, a paracord lanyard for neck carry and a firesteel.
The spine of the blade serves as the striker for the firesteel: the corners have not been rounded but left sharp so they bite properly on the rod.
