Kansbol Knife + Survival Kit - Burnt Orange
Versatile stainless steel fixed blade with integrated survival kit (fire starter, sharpener). Reliable in the forest.
Description
The story of Mora knives began over 100 years ago in the village of Ostnor in Sweden, not far from Mora, a town known for the quality of its blades. Erik Frost, a cutler and blacksmith, founded his company and his "Mora" knives were quickly adopted and valued by the Swedes, then abroad. Blades with a faultless edge and impressive toughness are behind that success.
The Mora Kansbol is a versatile knife, combining low weight with strength.
The 2.5 mm thick blade is stainless steel. It has a double grind: finer at the point for precise work and thicker (scandi) towards the handle for cutting and batoning.
The corners of the spine have not been rounded but left sharp, to be used with a firesteel.
The handle feels very good in the hand thanks to a combination of two polymers (TPE) of different densities, giving both rigidity and grip.
The Kansbol + Survival Kit comes with a sheath including a firesteel, a diamond sharpener and a short length of reflective cord (475 mm).
The Survival Kit block clips onto the sheath. You can take it off or put it back as you wish.
It is compatible with the sheath of the Mora Garberg knives.
The Kansbol will go with you on every outing: in the forest, on the trail, hunting, fishing, canoeing...
Orange colour for better visibility.
