Tindheim Tent 2

MSR's Tindheim 2 tent is a three-season tunnel model designed for hikers looking for a robust, spacious, and reliable shelter capable of facing demanding weather conditions.

Its tunnel design gives it excellent wind stability while remaining quick and easy to pitch. It relies on two sturdy poles, complemented by 3mm reflective guy lines and efficient tensioning systems, ensuring very good hold even in bad weather.

At the front, a large vestibule allows for easy storage of equipment or sheltered cooking when outdoor conditions are not suitable. Access is via a side entrance, followed by a large double-panel zippered opening for the inner tent: a fabric panel and a mesh panel to combine protection and ventilation.

The flysheet is equipped with two large ventilation openings at the front and back, ensuring excellent air circulation. This can be adjusted as needed by playing with the different openings, such as the entrance door or the small window at the back of the inner tent.

The Tindheim 2 comes complete with its footprint, for optimal protection of the tent's underside. It is possible to pitch only the flysheet with or without the footprint to create a lighter shelter.

While a tunnel tent is not free-standing, this shape offers many advantages:
