Happy Stove - Wood-burning Stove
Flat-pack steel wood stove with 4 slotting panels. Compact and efficient for bivouac.
Description
The Savotta Happy Stove is a simple, effective wood stove, just the way we like them.
It is made up of four walls and a base to assemble. Three solid walls and one wall with an opening for loading wood into your stove.
The various pieces slot into each other to form a stable, very capable wood stove.
Also supplied with the Savotta Happy Stove is a cooking support made of two pieces that form a cross-piece to sit on top of the stove. That lets you set any size of cook pot or cup on top. Mugs in particular, which are generally 8 to 9 cm in diameter.
All the stove's parts are made from laser-cut stainless steel.
Thickness of the parts: 0.5 mm
Once folded and packed flat in its bag, this wood stove is very compact and weighs only 290 g. It takes up almost no room in a backpack.
No need for gas or alcohol cartridges, you find the fuel on the spot.
That said, you can use the Happy Stove as a windshield for an alcohol burner such as the Trangia. Combining a stove like this with an alcohol burner can be a sensible move in certain situations: if you have to camp discreetly (a fire is easily spotted) or if you find yourself without fuel (high mountains, a thoroughly wet and soaked area...).
Happy Stove, a stove that puts a smile on your face ;-)
