Description
The Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite is a great classic among foam mats.
Its closed-cell structure traps air between the mat and the ground, which increases insulation (R-Value = 1.7).
The new polyethylene foams used for the Z-Lite are softer on top for better comfort and denser underneath to give very high resistance to abrasion. You will not worry too much about where you lay it down.
Its accordion design makes it very compact to carry. An excellent insulating power / packed size ratio among closed-cell foam mats.
