A full tang knife with a walnut handle. Very pleasant grip even when the handle is wet.
The carbon steel blade (1066 - hardness 58-60 HRC) takes a remarkable edge that lasts and stays easy to sharpen.
At 3.5 mm thick, the BSH4 is a very tough knife. A knife for batoning and for working wood, a knife you can rely on!
The blade steel has been blued: it is covered with a film of oxides and turns blue-black. This treatment prevents rapid corrosion, so the BSH4 can be used in wet or damp environments.
The spine of the blade can be used as a striker on a firesteel.

Lanyard hole at the end of the handle.

Supplied in a leather sheath with a belt loop and a strap to secure the knife in the sheath.
