Bushbed Hammock - Olive

The Bushmen Bushbed Hammock - Olive is a large hammock with built-in netting.

You can use it as a conventional hammock or with the netting.

The system for deploying the netting (One Pull & Click) really is simple to use.
Just pull a cord (Pull) and the netting stowed at one end of the hammock comes across to cover the whole hammock. Then you join the two sides of the netting under the hammock (Click). You can then enjoy a moment of rest, sheltered from insects and from the sunlight.

A small pocket above your head lets you stow small items.

The netting (1 mm mesh) is perfect protection against the smallest insects such as flies, fleas, young ticks, mosquitoes...
It covers 2/3 of the canopy; the section above your head is made from the same fabric as the hammock. That awning protects against direct sunlight, damp and dust, and gives a pleasant sense of privacy.

You can also position the netting section above your head while staying fully protected. Pull the fabric section, the awning, back and close the hammock above your legs with the zip.

Made from parachute fabric (100% nylon), the ideal cloth for making hammocks: light, very strong, breathable, lovely to the touch and comfortable.
Another advantage: parachute fabric does not absorb water, it dries very quickly. Just shake your hammock before putting it back in its bag.

At 300 x 145 cm, the Bushbed Hammock is wide and comfortable.
Triple stitching gives a static load resistance of up to 200 kg!

Supplied in its carry bag with two aluminium carabiners, two 3 m cords and one 4 m cord that acts as a ridge line for the netting.
Ready to use. All that is missing is the two trees to hang it from...

The carry bag has a special slot through which one of the hammock loops passes.
You hang that loop first, unfold the hammock and hang the second loop.
It is easy to pack away too. You stuff the hammock into its bag like a sleeping bag.
