EASY Underquilt 2.2 m

The EASY Under Quilt is an insulating layer that sits beneath a hammock. It turns your hammock into a snug cocoon when temperatures drop.
Anyone who bivouacs in a hammock knows that much of the warmth in your sleeping bag escapes, mainly through your back but also at the sides. Where the sleeping bag is compressed, and therefore far less effective. By putting an insulating layer outside the hammock, there is no compression and the insulation works far better.

In designing the EASY Under Quilt 2.2 m, Bushmen set out to create an underquilt that is easy to use and versatile.

Easy to use.
The built-in suspension and adjustment system, made of elastic cords and line-locs, makes setting up quick and intuitive. Every component is permanently attached.
Clip the loops with their tensioners to the ends of the hammock (to the carabiners, for example).
Adjust the tension with the drawcords. And that is it, ready!

Versatile.
The EASY Under Quilt has several functions:
- Underquilt for a hammock
- Poncho protecting against cold and light rain
- Emergency sleeping bag
- Extra insulating layer for a sleeping bag
- Blanket

At 220 x 130 cm, the EASY Under Quilt gives complete thermal cover even for taller users.
The breathable outer fabric combined with synthetic insulation protects effectively against cold (down to around -5 °C), dew and light rain. Even when damp, the EASY Under Quilt goes on insulating and dries quickly.

The underquilt is reversible and can be used either way round.
A green side to blend into your surroundings.
A red side when being seen matters, in an emergency for example.
Discretion or safety.

In poncho mode the EASY Under Quilt has a warm, protective hood.
In underquilt mode the hood becomes a pocket. Sitting at the side of the hammock, it is very handy for small essentials — a head torch, a phone, gloves, a beanie... Everything you need at night is within reach.

Supplied with a compression sack.
