Hot Tarp 3x3 - Natural Cotton

The Bushmen Hot Tarp 3x3 is a traditional-looking tarp made from polycotton and fitted with a wood stove jack!

Tough and versatile, it comes complete with guy lines and stakes in a handsome bag with a shoulder strap, ready for any adventure.

Polycotton has several significant advantages.
The cotton content makes the tarp tougher, against abrasion but also against sparks from the campfire.
Cotton also breathes better than polyester or nylon. It feels good: the shade under a cotton sheet is more pleasant than under nylon. Conversely, in winter, with a "closed" pitch you are better insulated from the cold and get less condensation.
And for anyone who likes things traditional, cotton gives your camp a more old-school look.

The Bushmen Hot Tarp 3x3 lets you use a wood stove. A unique feature.
Depending on the pitch you can create a space that is not only sheltered but heated! Whether a shelter to sleep in, an outdoor kitchen, extra space beside your tent or your vehicle... You will be comfortable in any weather.

The stove jack is made from fire-resistant material able to withstand temperatures up to 800 °C.
Its star cut stabilises the flue and minimises rain leaks.
It fits most stoves on the market (4-8 cm diameter).
The hole can be closed securely with a Velcro flap when not in use.

NOTE: the material of the jack may distort slightly under high temperatures, which is natural and does not affect safety in use.

NOTE: Bushmen has made a few improvements to the Hot Tarps.
- The carry bag now has a roll-top closure and a PVC base (tougher and less prone to dirt).
- The aluminium Y stakes have been replaced by steel angle stakes. These longer stakes hold better in strong wind.
- the stove jack is now light grey with a circular cut-out for the flue.
