HUQ 180 Underquilt

The HUQ 180 Underquilt is an insulating layer that sits beneath a hammock.
Anyone who bivouacs in a hammock knows that much of the warmth in your sleeping bag escapes, mainly through your back but also at the sides. Through the areas where your sleeping bag is compressed, and therefore far less effective. By putting an insulating layer outside the hammock, there is no compression and the insulation works at its best.

The HUQ 180 Underquilt has G-Loft insulation (180 g/m2).
Its special cut fits the banana shape of a hammock perfectly.
You can combine it with any hammock and adjust it exactly with elastic cords and line-locs.

It is of course an accessory to use alongside a sleeping bag.

Its rectangular shape also means you can use it as a blanket.
