Anorak No. 8 - Dark Olive

The Anorak No. 8 was created to stand up to the hard conditions you can meet in forest or mountains throughout the year. A shell that will protect you from the weather (rain, wind and snow) but also from vegetation. Highly abrasion-resistant, you need no longer fear brambles and branches and can push deep into the forest. Fjallraven has used two kinds of G1000, its famous polycotton fabric (65% polyester, 35% cotton). G1000 Eco, a rain- and wind-resistant fabric made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. And G1000 HeavyDuty, extremely tough, for the most exposed areas (shoulders, sleeves and lower back). The hood adjusts with three drawcords to fit the shape of your head perfectly. It gives maximum protection from the wind without blocking your peripheral vision. The "peak", stiffened with a wire, can be held in whatever position you want. The hood is sized to fit over a helmet. When it is not in use, the hood forms a high, protective collar that keeps your neck warm. In better weather you can open the collar with a zip and then unbutton the opening completely to ventilate and let heat out. The zips on each side of the anorak have two functions: they let you pull it on and off easily and regulate the temperature inside according to your activity. Open to ventilate, close to insulate. A large kangaroo pouch at the front with two compartments. Access from the sides to warm and protect your hands, and also perfect for stowing gloves, a hat or a scarf, which stay warm. Another access from the top for storing gear (map, compass...). Drawcords at the front and the back. A strap links the back to the front between the legs. Its purpose is to hold the anorak down in strong wind. Cuffs adjust with press studs. The Fjallraven Anorak No. 8 is excellent protection for anyone who likes to get lost in nature and open country.
