The Fjallraven Greenland Jacket is a brand classic dating back to 1968.

This jacket was developed with the members of an expedition to Greenland in 1966.

Over time the fabric has changed; Fjallraven moved from a heavy cotton canvas to G-1000 Original, the brand's own waterproof and windproof polycotton (a blend of polyester and cotton).
In 2018, Fjallraven replaced G-1000 Original with G-1000 Eco, still polycotton but based on recycled polyester and organic cotton.
You can impregnate it with Greenland Wax for better protection from the weather.
