Every Frost River bag is made from traditional materials (waxed cotton - 500 g/m² - and leather) with faultless finish and robustness.
Largely inspired by the canoe packs used by 19th-century adventurers and explorers in North America, Frost River bags are built for hard environments and to last a lifetime.
All the bags are handmade in Frost River's workshops in Minnesota, in the United States.
The story of the Shell Bag goes back about a century; this bag was made for carrying cartridges.
These days the Shell Bag Large will have different uses depending on its owner: an everyday bag for carrying your papers, your phone... a "field bag" for the woodsman, to fill with whatever you gather in the forest, a small satchel for fishing...
