D.H. Russell Lockblade Knife

Built on the now classic design of the Grohmann #1 Original Design, the D.H. Russell is a folding knife that is slightly larger than the fixed blade version when open!

Drawn and designed by D. H. Russell, the Original Design (fixed blade) quickly became a benchmark among hunters and trappers in the far north. Faced with very strong demand, D. H. Russell turned to Rudolf Grohmann, an experienced Czechoslovak cutler. That is how the Grohmann family came to settle in Canada and found Grohmann Knives, and they have produced every Canadian Belt Knife designed by D. H. Russell from the very beginning.

The blade of the Grohmann D.H. Russell is fully secured when open by a "Lockblade" back lock. To release the blade and fold the knife, you press the spring on the back of the handle.

This knife is highly versatile outdoors. Its rounded (elliptical) blade suits hunters preparing game perfectly.
The handle gives a remarkable, very secure grip. There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle.

Every knife comes with a leather sheath for belt carry.
