Description
At the origin of the Grohmann brand is D.H. Russell, who drew and designed the #1 Original Design knife -
a benchmark among hunters and trappers in the far north. Faced with very strong demand, D. H. Russell turned to Rudolf Grohmann, an experienced Czechoslovak cutler. That is how the Grohmann family came to settle in Canada and found Grohmann Knives, and they have produced every Canadian Belt Knife designed by D. H. Russell from the very beginning.
The Grohmann Drop-Point Lockblade is a sturdy knife built for a wide range of jobs. A firm favourite among hunters in North America. It is reminiscent of the legendary Buck 110, but without copying the Bowie blade shape, preferring a drop point for extra strength.
The blade of the Grohmann Drop-Point Lockblade is fully secured when open by a "Lockblade" back lock. To release the blade and fold the knife, you press the spring on the back of the handle.
The curved handle gives a good grip. Its weight (200 g) adds a very reassuring feel in the hand.
Every knife comes with a leather sheath for belt carry.
Grohmann knives are hand made and guaranteed for life!
