Knife #3 Army Knife Carbon

The Grohmann #3 Army Knife Carbon is produced in the Grohmann workshops in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Drawn and designed by D. H. Russell, this model has been used by the Canadian armed forces since 1964.

Faced with very strong demand, D. H. Russell turned to Rudolf Grohmann, an experienced Czechoslovak cutler. That is how the Grohmann family came to settle in Canada and found Grohmann Knives, and they have produced every Canadian Belt Knife designed by D. H. Russell from the very beginning.

The Grohmann #3 Army Knife Carbon goes by several names (Army Knife, Boat Knife or Yachtsman) depending on the sheath supplied with it.
The sheath for the Army Knife version is an overlap sheath with a flap over the handle and a press-stud closure.
The knife is completely secure in the sheath.

An excellent choice if you want an honest, versatile knife: for canoeing, sailing, fishing, hunting, hiking...
The triangular handle shape gives a very secure grip, even when wet. There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle.

Every knife comes with a leather sheath for belt carry.
