The Hultafors Ekelund Hunting Axe is the perfect model for setting up camp (clearing, limbing, building, preparing firewood...) but also for small forestry jobs. It lets you fell trees of reasonable size.Finally, its wide head and its "hammer" make it the right tool for skinning game.
At 51 cm long with an 850 g head it carries very good momentum. It is the first model in the Hultafors range that can be used two-handed effectively. The Ekelund Hunting Axe is very well balanced, and you can also use it one-handed by moving your hand up the handle.
Supplied with a leather sheath.
The carbon steel head is hammered between 40 and 60 times during forging to increase its density and so its longevity. As-forged finish.Convex edge, sharpened and polished, ready to use.
