The Katadyn Combi is a versatile water filter that suits many situations: a breakdown at home, a day in the woods, a trip in a camper van or on a boat, and of course hiking and travelling.

The Combi has a two-stage filter (ceramic and activated carbon).
The ceramic filter removes bacteria, protozoa and other pathogens. Because they are larger than 0.2 microns, those micro-organisms cannot pass through the micro-pores of the ceramic filter (0.2 microns).
The carbon filter removes chemicals and markedly improves the taste of the water. You get pure, odour-free water!

It is not the lightest (around 600 g) but it is a dependable product with a long life and a filtration capacity of 50,000 L.

Its ceramic filter is easy to clean in the field. Just take it out and run it under water, scrubbing gently.
The carbon filter can be recharged (supplied with two extra doses).
You can use the Combi without the carbon filter, which spares the carbon and increases filtration capacity.

The Katadyn Combi filter comes with a tap connection set.
You can connect the Combi to any tap (at home, on a boat, in a camper van, in a caravan...).
The only filter you can use indoors and out!

Supplied in a pouch with:
- A weighted pre-filter for the end of the intake hose - a kind of strainer that stops large particles (over 130 microns) getting into the system.
- A foam float that slides along the hose so you can hold the pre-filter below the surface, to avoid drawing water from the very top or right off the bottom.
- A hose
- A small maintenance kit with a cleaning pad, seals and lubricant.
- Two carbon refills
- An adapter for various kinds of bottle.
- A tap connection set
