Description
The Kelly Kettle Cook Set Large is a set made entirely from stainless steel, designed to be used with the Kelly Kettle Base Camp 1.6L (aluminium or stainless steel) and Scout 1.2L (aluminium or stainless steel) wood-fired kettles. It adds versatility to your kettle by letting you cook as well.
The Cook Set Large comprises an 850 ml pan, a lid/frying pan, a gripper handle and a small two-part grate.
Two options:
- Once you have heated your water, you take the kettle off and fit the grate on the firebox (sold separately). You can then place the pan or the frying pan on the grate to cook. To keep feeding the fire you add kindling through the firebox air intake.
- With the Pot Support (sold separately) you can cook on top of the chimney while your water heats. Note that the temperature at the chimney outlet is extremely high, so cooking will be very fast and you will need to stir regularly to stop food catching.
The set stows inside the firebox of your Kelly Kettle for transport.
Note: The firebox and the kettle visible in photos 4 and 5 are sold separately. They show the grate in use.
