Description
The story of Mora knives began over 100 years ago in the village of Ostnor in Sweden,
not far from Mora, a town known for the quality of its blades. Erik Frost, a cutler and blacksmith, founded his company and his "Mora" knives were quickly adopted and valued by the Swedes, then abroad. Blades with a faultless edge and impressive toughness are behind that success.
The Mora Wood Splitting 220 (S) is designed for splitting or flattening, but it is also very useful for carving. A tool much appreciated by carpenters and joiners which in some cases gives you a better finish than an axe or a knife.
The handles are birch with an oil finish.
The blade is stainless steel.
