Sustain 1L Wide Opening - Grey Black

The Nalgene Wide Mouth Sustain 1L bottle is a great classic.

For several decades this bottle has gone with hikers, climbers and mountaineers on their adventures.

It is the model that put Nalgene in the spotlight.
Many backpack makers have shaped their pockets to take the Nalgene bottle perfectly. The thread is a standard too, compatible with most water filters, which can be screwed onto it for filling (Katadyn, MSR...).

Made from recycled Tritan, free of BPA and BPS, the bottle is healthy and its contents will not pick up a taste of plastic.
Ultra-tough, it will take plenty of knocks, and wide swings in temperature too (from -40°C to 100°C). You can warm the water inside by dropping hot stones in.

Its wide mouth makes the bottle very practical.
It fills far more quickly and you can store things other than liquid inside (berries you have just picked, food, a survival kit...).
Filling it with hot water to use the bottle as a hot water bottle is less risky.
You can drop ice cubes in easily for a cold drink.
It can even serve as a bailer in a canoe...
