The Opinel No. 08 Garden is the pocket knife made for the gardener.
The right size. Not too big to sit comfortably in your pocket, not too small to be effective and comfortable in the hand.
The blade is stainless steel and the beech handle is varnished. Your Opinel No. 08 Garden is untroubled by damp. You can cut a juicy lettuce or push it into wet soil to pull up weeds without a second thought.
That said, a quick clean and dry after use is always welcome!
The No. 08 Garden pocket knife has Opinel's signature safety ring: Virobloc.
You turn the collar at the end of the handle to lock the blade open or closed.
The blade takes an excellent edge and is very hard-wearing.
