27-3 UL

The Trangia 27-3 UL storm cooker is recommended for one to two people.

This complete set includes:
- 1 base and 1 windshield
- 1 alcohol burner
- 2 pans of 1 L
- 1 frying pan 18 cm in diameter with a non-stick coating
- 1 gripper handle
- 1 strap

The alcohol burner is brass. The frying pan is non-stick aluminium. All the other parts are Ultralight aluminium. Its total weight is 730 g.
Everything packs into the upper windshield and is held shut by the strap that goes round it.

All Trangia stoves are built on the same concept.
The base and the windshield slot together and shield the burner from the wind completely. The burner sits 25 mm below the pan for the best efficiency.
Thanks to this arrangement you can cook in peace whatever the conditions outside, even in a strong wind.
The air intake grille on the base should face into the wind, to give the burner the best supply of oxygen.

The burner can be put out at any moment with a small lid whose shutter lets you adjust the strength of the flame. That way you use only the amount of alcohol the meal actually needs. So no waste, and with practice you will know exactly how much alcohol to carry for your trip.

Thanks to their simple design, Trangia "storm cooker" stoves are very reliable. Nothing superfluous whose failure could render the stove unusable.
