Description
The Trangia Winter Attachment is a set comprising an aluminium plate, a burner preheater and a burner.
This winter kit is compatible with all Trangia series 25 and 27 stoves.
The heat output of an alcohol stove falls as the temperature drops. Below 0°C, using the Winter Attachment is strongly recommended.
The burner preheater warms the burner for lighting, and the plate acts as a reflector, sending straight back towards the burner the heat that would normally be lost into the ground.
The plate also serves as a base for the stove, very handy in snow.
These two items improve the burner's performance enormously in hard frost. A few grams more for very real comfort!
