Stainless Steel Hexagon

Vargo is an American maker of very specific hiking kit: alcohol stoves, cutlery, tent pegs, cups and cook sets.

Most Vargo products are made from titanium and are therefore very tough and ultralight.

The Vargo Hexagon Stainless Steel is the stainless steel version of the Vargo Hexagon Titanium. It is still light (210 g) and it takes up very little room once folded, barely 1 cm thick.
Assembly is genuinely simple: the base and the 6 faces are joined by hinges. Just fold the faces up around the base and clip the fifth face in - the stove is ready!

The last face acts as an opening, which lets you feed the fire and also regulate the air intake so you can manage combustion.

The Vargo Hexagon Stainless Steel can also be used as a windshield for a small alcohol stove.

For minimalists, add two Vargo titanium tent pegs and a Klean Kanteen Reflect 800 ml bottle, and you have a very handy stove/container combination! (see photo)

Of simple construction, light, compact, burning wood or alcohol, the Hexagon Stainless Steel is a very good choice for one person.
