Double-edged hook knife for carving bowls and spoons. Carbon steel, durable edge.

Description

The story of Mora knives began over 100 years ago in the village of Ostnor in Sweden, not far from Mora, a town known for the quality of its blades. Erik Frost, a cutler and blacksmith, founded his company and his "Mora" knives were quickly adopted and valued by the Swedes, then abroad. Blades with a faultless edge and impressive toughness are behind that success.

The Mora 162 Hook Knife is perfect for everything you make and carve in wood, particularly for making spoons, bowls or kuksa (wooden cups).

The curved blade lets you hollow into wood easily. It is stainless steel with a double edge (the blade is sharpened on both sides, so it suits right- and left-handers alike).
The blade has a 25 mm internal diameter. The handle is birch with an oil finish.

Its small diameter lets you hollow nice and deep. Perfect for making a kuksa, for example.
The Mora 162 Hook Knife is the perfect tool for everything you make at camp or at home.
