The Opinel No. 07 Carbon has the safety ring. You turn the collar at the end of the handle to lock the blade open.

Small and light, it cuts excellently and sits well in the hand thanks to its beech handle and that shape unique to Opinel.

We have chosen the models with a carbon steel blade, the historic Opinel steel.
An exceptional edge and easy sharpening are what made the brand famous worldwide.
You will need to dry and oil the blade after every use, though, to avoid any risk of corrosion.
